It was announced in Sydney this morning that Missy Higgins has been nominated for an ARIA Award! She has been nominated in the category of BEST FEMALE ARTIST a gong she took home after last years awards night!!
The Awards will be held in Sydney on Sunday October 19 and telecast on the Ten Network.
As part of triple j and jtv’s biggest regional initiative ever, Missy Higgins headed to Humpty Doo NT for the first triple j goes AWOL gig. You can watch the show this Sunday September 7 at 11.30am on ABC2 or check out the highlights online at abc.net.au.

Missy will perform her single “Where I Stood” on The “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on August 28th. The show airs on NBC at 11.35pm EST/PST. Australian fans will be able to watch it on the Comedy Channel, Friday 29th of August at 10:30pm. Don’t miss it!
