Missy will be playing a national concert tour with her five piece band through March and April.
Missy has played over 100 shows around Australia in the last nine months but this will be her first national concert tour with her band. It will actually see her headlining many of the same venues in which she played solo supports for the John Butler Trio and Pete Murray in the middle of last year.
Tickets for all shows will go on sale on Valentines Day – Monday February 14.
Details of this tour are as follows:
Thursday March 24 (Easter Thursday) – Belvoir Amphitheatre, Perth
Saturday March 26 – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide
Monday March 28 – Byron Bay Blues Festival
Sunday April 10 – Brisbane Convention Centre
Wednesday April 13 – Royal Theatre, Canberra
Thursday April 14 – Central Coast Leagues Club
Friday April 15 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Wednesday April 20 – Newcastle Entertainment Centre (Intimate Mode)
Thursday April 21 – Wollongong University
Friday April 22 – Palais Theatre, Melbourne
Following these concerts, the former “Unearthed” winner will spend most of 2005 touring in the North America and Europe as she begins to build an international career. She intends to follow the same touring based approach that has proved so effective in Australia.
“I’m really looking forward to doing these Australian gigs”, said Missy. “It’s been a really incredible few months for me so this tour will be a great way to celebrate everything that’s happened before I head overseas.”
