Missy Higgins announced today that edgy folk/pop songstress Kate Miller-Heidke will be the special guest on three regional Victorian dates she will perform over coming weeks.
Missy is currently riding high in the national charts with her album “On A Clear Night” still sitting in the top 10 after two months in stores. The second single from the disc – “Where I Stood” – premieres on radio today and the video will debut on TV this weekend.
Kate Miller-Heidke’s debut album – “Little Eve” – entered the national charts at an impressive #11 today. Kate describes her music as “pop/folk/rock with stories and a theatrical tinge” with her unique style often earning her comparisons with the likes of Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell. Since the 2004 release of Kate’s debut EP “Telegraph” the former lead opera vocalist has built a strong following throughout Australia and will be accompanying Missy on all three regional dates in July.
