Missy Higgins will return to the U.S. with “On A Clear Night”, due for release on February 26, 2008. The album’s first U.S single, “Where I Stood,” has already been featured prominently on the CW’s Smallville and on the Thanksgiving edition of ABC’s hit show Grey’s Anatomy, among others. Both shows have been pivotal in breaking new artists over recent years. .” To add to this “Where I Stood” will also be featured in the January 29th episode of TV sitcom One Tree Hill.
Missy’s music is also already receiving serious support from influential L.A. tastemaker Nic Harcourt via his “Morning Becomes Eclectic” program on KCRW. This is also helping build anticipation for the stateside release of “On A Clear Night” in February.
