Filmed during the winter, Missy said “It was a painfully freezing couple of days I spent fully clothed in Byron Bay’s winter ocean… but thankfully it was completely worth it! I really, really love this clip, I think it is so powerful. Natasha Pincus did an incredible job using the tumultuous ocean as a metaphor for my relationship with creativity. The song deals with a real inner conflict I went through regarding music, so to personify the water as both my nemesis and then my saviour is pretty spot on when relating to the meaning of the song. I feel honoured to have worked with such an incredible film-maker.”
