MISSY ALBUM A ‘CLEAR’ CHART TOPPER

The latest album from Missy Higgins – “On A Clear Night” – entered the Australian charts at #1 today.

The disc has attracted four star reviews from most music critics and is already certified platinum for sales of over 70,000 copies. It features the single “Steer” which also topped the charts a few weeks ago.

Critics have been raving with quotes such as –
“…..a worthy and impressive successor to her debut” Rolling Stone
“A truly musical superstar with an amazing new album..” Mixdown Magazine
“Fans won over by the 23 year old’s ‘The Sound of White’ will doubtlessly fall in love with Higgins a second time around.” Drum Media

“All you can do is try to make an album that you’re really proud of. So whatever happens after that at least you know you did your best”, explains Missy. “Now that it’s released and people are obviously really liking it, it feels awesome! To have something that’s so close to your heart be received so well is just such a good feeling”

“On A Clear Night” is the follow up to Missy’s phenomenally successful debut album, “The Sound Of White” which swept the 2005 ARIA Awards.
